Privacy policy

• Registration details: full name, date of birth, country, username
• Password — stored encrypted (hashed); no one at the site ever sees it as plain text
• Leagues and interests you've selected
• Activity on the service: tips you published or bought, tiptopers you follow, wallet balance and transactions (in fake money)
• Support requests sent through the "Contact us" page

To run the service itself — account management, showing relevant tips, computing statistics, and responding to support requests. We don't use your data for targeted advertising and don't sell it to third parties.

The information is stored in a database hosted with Turso, and the site itself is hosted with Vercel — two infrastructure providers with servers outside Israel. Using the service constitutes consent to transferring the information to these servers.

As of today we don't share information with payment, advertising, or analytics providers — because these don't yet exist in the service. When they're added (for example, a payment processor for real payments), this policy will be updated to spell out exactly what is shared and with whom.

Passwords are encrypted using a hashing function (bcrypt) and are never stored as plain text. Communication with the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Even so, no security method is 100% airtight.

You may request to review the information stored about you, correct it, or request deletion of your account and the information associated with it. For such a request — through the contact page.

The site uses a single session cookie to recognize you as logged in after you sign in. The site has no tracking or advertising cookies.

The service is intended for those aged 18 and up. If we learn that a user under this age has registered, we will close the account. Parents who believe their minor child has registered for the service are welcome to contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time, and the date of the last update will appear at the top of the page.
